One should always pay attention the food they eat especially with diabetes which is directly tied into ones diet. Many foods that do have MSG have been tied to as major causes of diabetes but no such concrete information regarding the reported ill-effects have ever been documented. Initially derived from seaweed, it allows food to take on another flavor, making even the most unpalatable looking food savory for all to enjoy.
True to this, we may not even realize the intake of the wrongly accused food additive that has been used since the early 1900’s when it was synthesized by a Japanese Chemist.
To this day, it is still considered to be as safe as table sugar and salt as long as it is used in moderation as with any other foodstuffs/additives.
